She stands at 190.5 cm, with an outward appearance of a woman that takes care of herself. Her hair is a deep, rich brown that darkens near the ends, usually kept down, it comes to rest near the middle of her back. Her ears are of the same coloration as her hair, that darkens to an almost black near the ends where short fur turns into wispy long ends.Being of the Rava Clan, her complexion is a warm brown. A beauty mark rests under her left eye. She doesn’t usually use makeup, save for eyeshadows that fall under a more reddish tint, she finds that it helps with drawing attention to the light green shade of her eyes.Lastly, she has a scar that curves along the ride side of her hip, sickle like in appearance and Garlean inflicted. Mhir often tries to cover this up especially before performances, as a lot of her costumes and outfits are high-cut leotards.

It’s hollow, the smile that she wears, and is often betrayed by a far off look in her eyes. Bitter memories that roll and crash like waves rushing to a distant shore. Calm speech and a seemingly collected head give way to a rather cold demeanor. Mhir is every bit the painted lady she wants people to believe that she is, but much like paint, it can be worn and chipped away.Her mask is a well crafted one, her shield of thorns. In a world where lack of imagination and naivety had costed her everything, she would not and will not allow herself to be weak again.Upon scratching the surface, one will find that her ego can be stifling and even worse; it’s incredibly fragile. She’s a cutthroat perfectionist that will rake herself over the coals if something is not up to her standards. She will always look for faults in herself to stew over and pick at, and when she cannot find a fault within herself, she will pick arguments with others to avoid her own feelings and shortcomings.Her mean streak can be boiled down to childish pettiness, or to long lasting grudges. More bark than actual bite, but a penchant for the dramatics all the same. Not exactly vindictive, but more so a tired, passive aggressiveness.An escapist, often she seeks distractions from her life, perhaps this is why the idea of travelling and adventuring seems so appealing to her. Seeking comfort in far off places, or stories she’s heard while on the road. Anything to fill that craterous void that has nestled itself so deep within her being. Desperate for even a scrap of kindness, but unable to bring herself to ask for help. Her pride is a snare that tightens around her neck little by little, and she’s simply too blind, or just frankly unwilling to see it as such.She can be hard to get along with, behind such a guarded persona and her initial condescending way of approaching people, she’s a lot to deal with. But if one can look past all that, they’ll find it’s all just an act to keep herself at an arm's length. She finds that the closer she gets with people the more likely it is for her to lose herself within the relationship (platonic & romantic alike). Mhir can be a fiercely loyal friend or partner, but that fierce loyalty can turn into unhealthy codependency; in which she feels like she cannot support herself on her own. Loneliness holds her in a death grip, but to her, seeking comfort in others can be a fate far worse.Mhir suffers immensely from survivor's guilt, and being unable to come to terms with her trauma. She's the kind of person to ignore the problem as it eats a way at her.

Born within the Golmore Jungle as the third eldest sister to the mother by the name of Mytra, the early days of Mhir’s life were filled with laughter and joy. She and her sisters (Ylfa, Kjrni, Maev) were extremely close, sticking up for each other whenever a chance presented itself, and even choosing to leave their village for the life outside its sheltered boughs, taking the name of their village as their surname as reminder of their roots.They lived a rather simple life within the city of Rabanastre, working as seamstresses and apothecaries. They wanted for nothing, life for them was as it should’ve been. That is until war found its way to their doorstep. The Empire of Garlemald marched on the kingdom of Dalmasca with only conquest in mind, and their beautiful beloved city was just another miniscule piece on their grand chessboard.The Garleans found that the Dalmascans would not submit quietly, just as the Domans had not. Rebellion stirred in the hearts of Dalmasca’s people, to fight back when attacked. A fatal mistake that was answered with a brutality that the people of Dalmasca did not think was possible. The Garleans razed the city to a husk of rubble in order to bring the people to heel, Mhir lost her entire world.She managed to escape the city with a small group of refugees, securing safe enough passage to the coast where she was able board a ship that brought her to Thavnair, rebuilding her life one painful piece at a time. She joined a traveling performers guild, taking up residence as their seamstress until she found her talent for dancing and was placed in shows as well.Between working on costumes, choreography, and performing Mhir has solidified her spot within her contingent. Now the group finds itself touring Eorzea.

Dalmascan Refugee: Victims of circumstance, leaving behind their home and families. There is strength in being able to bond over those experiences, even if both parties desperately wish to erase the memories. It’s a pain that she wouldn’t wish on anyone, yet an all too common one nonetheless.

Performer By Trade: She is after all with a traveling group. Perhaps you caught her eye during a performance? Whatever the case maybe, she’ll surely seek you out when the show is over.

Garlemald / Garleans: It’s a fear that creeps up her spine and gives way to anxiety, a hatred that bubbles in the pits of her stomach only to leave her choking back venom and bile. Garlemald took everything from her, she’ll never let that happen again.

Other Viera: She’s incredibly out of touch with her culture and people, and is actually quite ashamed to admit it, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t willing to try and reconnect with the culture.

Seeking Adventure: Maybe not in the same vein as a real adventurer, but Mhir would love to see the wonders this world has to offer. She can hold her own well enough, she isn’t exactly a professional fighter. Having someone tagging along would definitely help, especially for any harrowing situations.
